With the growing concerns of global warming on the rise, we can’t help but take inventory of our personal lives as well as how we do business. As we become more conscious of how damaging many current practices are, we realized that we needed to step up and reassess. More than ever, we see companies taking responsibility by Going Green.
Here at The Turn Group, we play our part in making the world a better place by taking steps toward becoming an environmentally friendly business.
Going Green is a step-by-step process of evaluation and implementation. The benefits outweigh the costs of traditional practices. Our efforts to create a “waste-free” business taught us two things:
1) Small efforts deliver big results
2) Creating a Green Business is deeply rewarding.
Our Green Business Practices
- We are replacing all cleaning products with eco-friendly alternatives and exploring “virtually waterless” cleaning technology.
- Over 90% of our lighting has been upgraded to energy-efficient bulbs. We unplug devices when not in use and maximize natural light, reducing our energy bill significantly.
- Heating costs have been reduced by lowering thermostat settings, a small adjustment with a big environmental impact.
- We eliminated 99% of paper faxing, adopted online faxing, print emails only when necessary, and use recycled content paper wherever possible.
